Atitlan Lake To get to Lake Atitlan, you should be filled with patience and courage. A long and winding mountain road, full of steep curves is the fastest route from Guatemala City to Panajachel. More than two and a half hour's journey to this point and after that about an hour, this winding and dangerous road more so than the last. If survived the trip, what lies ahead will be possibly one of the most beautiful and striking impressions of your life. I began by mentioning the worst, or perhaps the only bad memories of the trip to Lake Atitlan. |
